Established in 1998, Ale Construction Limited has grown through practical experience, investment in specialist plant and a hands-on approach to challenging civil engineering work. From its early foundations, the business has developed the people, equipment and knowledge to deliver projects across the UK, working in varied ground conditions and on sites where access and working space demand careful planning.

In 2002, we were among the first companies in the UK to adopt Movax piling equipment. That early investment helped shape our approach to piling: combining experienced operators with specialist machinery and choosing installation methods to suit the project. We have continued to build on that experience through the years, developing our capability in retaining walls, sheet piling and work both on land and from floating platforms.

Delta Civil Engineering later came under the Ale Construction Limited banner, bringing a wealth of experience in tunnelling, shaft sinking and deep excavation. Alongside it, the piling operation traded as ALE Piling, developing its own specialist expertise and project record.

To simplify the business and bring these complementary capabilities together, the operations of Delta Civil Engineering and ALE Piling were united under the DAACE trading name. This brought established piling and ground-retention expertise together with specialist excavation, shafts and headings, continuing the services on which both operations had built their experience.

Today, DAACE brings that combined background to retaining walls and piling, shaft sinking, deep excavations, restricted-access works and inland marine equipment hire. Backed by our own specialist plant and a practical, responsive approach, we help clients identify and deliver solutions suited to their site and project requirements.
